Bulgaria is a country in Central and Southeast Europe, on the coast of the Black Sea. On 1 January 2026 Bulgaria adopted the euro and became the 21th member of the euro area.

Bulgaria has chosen three different designs for their national sides of the euro coins. The design of the eurocoins looks equal to the design of the lev. All the coins also depict the 12 stars of the European flag.
